Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a specialised form of physical therapy that applies deep pressure to soft tissue in order to release tight muscle fascia and allow muscle fibres to realign during the healing and recovery process. This technique can be performed using the therapist's hands or elbows for deeper pressure, or specialised tools designed to aid in the restoration of muscle strength, mobility, and relaxation of tissue. The benefits of this treatment include:

  • Reduced soreness

  • Improved muscular recovery

  • Higher neuromuscular efficiency

  • Improved muscle and joint range of motion

  • Restores normal functional movement
